To create a meeting andin TaskIQ, you first need to download the transcript. If you’re using Microsoft Teams to generate the transcript, here’s how to do it. Don’t worry, it’s simple and straightforward.
First you’ll need a to get started.
You need a Zoom Business, Education, or Enterprise Plan If you are using the free or Pro versions, they do not include transcripts.
Step 1: Enable Audio Transcription in Settings
- Sign in to your Zoom account at .
- Go to Settings → Recording.
- Find the Cloud Recording section.
- Turn on Audio transcript. Toggle this feature on to allow transcripts to be generated automatically whenever you record to the cloud.
Step 2: Record the Meeting to the Cloud
- Start or join your meeting in Zoom.
- Click the Record button.
- Choose Record to the Cloud (not “Record on this Computer”). This is important — transcripts are only created for cloud recordings, not for recordings saved directly to your computer.
Step 3: End the Meeting
- When the meeting ends, Zoom will process your recording.
- The transcript is created automatically, but it may take some time depending on meeting length.
Step 4: Get the Transcript
- Zoom will send you an email when your transcript is ready.
- You can also find it in your Zoom web portal under Recordings → Cloud Recordings.
- Open the meeting recording and download the transcript as a .vtt file, or view it alongside the video. If you prefer another format, you can convert it to Word or PDF.
